Our advanced adult ballet classes are perfect for those dancers who want to take their extensive ballet training and really move!

Progressive Level Program

Our Progressive Level program is unique to Elancé Adult Ballet School, with Progressive Levels 4-6 designed for advanced adult ballet students. Building on strong technical foundations, our 90-minute Progressive Level classes recognise the abilities of our advanced adult ballet students’ and challenge them in a supportive and non-competitive environment. All classes respect traditional classical ballet training methods and studio etiquette, whilst maintaining a sense of fun and enjoyment.

Progressive Levels 4 to 6

If you have 5 years of adult ballet (or over 8 years training in earlier days) and it’s time for chaînés to be linked to your practice, then PL4 could be the class for you. If you’re leaning toward a penché and you have 6 years of adult ballet training (or 9 years earlier), then perhaps it’s time for PL5. These advanced adult ballet classes will further consolidate your technique while broadening your repertoire.

PL6 is for those dancers ready for everything from fouettés and cabrioles to pirouettes in attitude en dedans. You’ll need extensive classical ballet experience (at least 7 years of adult ballet or over 10 years in earlier days) and your technique should be established and strong. If this is you, the freedom found in PL6 will make your dancer’s heart sing!

Beyond the Class

While students are appropriately challenged in their intermediate adult ballet classes, we believe there is no need for added pressure in our lives! As such we do not hold exams nor present public performances. Students at Elancé Adult Ballet School enjoy an inclusive, non-competitive and supportive community, with many opportunities beyond their weekly classes, including workshops, intensives and special events such as our popular “Dance On Stage”.
